*The Specifics
A warm, book-loving, and easygoing family is seeking a full-time summer nanny who can potentially transition into a part-time role (approximately 25 hours per week) during the school year. (not mandatory) This laid-back yet active household values creativity, kindness, and a strong sense of teamwork. Their three daughters—ages 8, 6, and 3—are fun-loving, artistic, and full of curiosity.
The two older girls attend school full-time, and the youngest will begin preschool in the upcoming school year. The family is looking for a nanny who can provide a blend of structured support and playful engagement, helping each child thrive in a nurturing and stimulating environment.
The ideal candidate is patient, kind, and proactive—someone who enjoys encouraging independence in children while supporting their daily routines. Responsibilities will include guiding the kids through simple tasks like piano practice, light homework, and age-appropriate chores. A typical day might involve a trip to the library, a walk to a nearby park, an afternoon of baking, or creative crafts and art projects. The children do not have screen time during the week, and the family is looking for a nanny who respects and supports this lifestyle by staying present and engaged throughout the day.
Light household support will also be needed. Duties include tidying the kitchen and children’s spaces, assisting with dishes and family laundry, preparing lunches, and occasionally starting simple dinners. The ability to take initiative and help the household run smoothly will be greatly appreciated.
The family's eldest daughter has a nut allergy and is currently undergoing oral immunotherapy. While she is very aware of her allergy and responsible with her medication, the nanny must be comfortable carrying an EpiPen and remaining vigilant about food safety.
Rooted in their Christian faith, the family celebrates Christian holidays and would love to find a nanny who shares and honors those values. They describe themselves as informal but intentional—balancing a relaxed home environment with clear expectations for kindness, respect, and contribution from every family member.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a nurturing and creative caregiver who enjoys spending time with curious, bright children and wants to become part of a loving, thoughtful household.
