*The Specifics

This warm and busy dual-physician family in Upper Arlington is seeking a nurturing, reliable, and engaging nanny to care for their three-year-old daughter and newborn son, with a start date between mid-March and early April. With demanding medical careers and especially hectic mornings, the family is looking for someone who can provide steady, attentive support and help create a calm, organized flow to their days. They are loving, outgoing, and easygoing parents who value strong relationships and hope to find a nanny who will truly treat their children with kindness and care.

Their daughter, is three years old and currently attends daycare full time. She is expressive, conversational, and loves pretend play, reading, and interactive engagement. While she may take a little time to warm up to new people, she thrives with someone patient who allows her to approach and build trust at her own pace. The family is looking for a nanny who will provide one-on-one attention, stimulate her learning, and maintain a sense of structure similar to what she receives in daycare. They value routine and want to ensure that, if daycare schedules change, she continues to experience social interaction, educational stimulation, and consistent daily rhythms. Limiting screen time and encouraging imaginative play, reading, and active outings are very important to them.

Their newborn son, will require attentive, developmentally appropriate infant care. The ideal candidate will be comfortable balancing the different needs of a toddler and a newborn, confidently shifting attention between both children with patience and skill. Responsibilities include preparing children’s meals, assisting with children’s and family laundry, and helping with dishes when used. The nanny must be comfortable driving.

The family enjoys taking their children to the zoo, parks, and other enriching activities, and they welcome a nanny who is open to outings and keeping the children active and engaged. A Spanish-speaking nanny is strongly preferred, though not required. The parents love to travel and would be open to having their nanny join them on trips. They are seeking someone fun, interactive, friendly, and deeply nurturing—someone who can balance structure with warmth, provide stability in a busy household, and become a trusted and valued part of their family’s life.
