*The Specifics

This growing family is expecting their first child and is seeking a supportive, nurturing, and dependable nanny to assist with daytime infant care and help maintain the smooth flow of their busy household. Both parents are business owners of a rapidly expanding electrical contracting company with over 150 employees across Ohio and Missouri, resulting in demanding daytime schedules. They are excited to welcome a nanny who can help support them during this important life transition while allowing them to focus their evenings on quality family time and recharging for the next day. The family describes themselves as happy, laid-back, down-to-earth, hardworking, and often on the go, and they value a nanny who shares a similar easygoing and positive personality.

The nanny’s primary responsibility will be providing attentive, loving, and developmentally appropriate care for their newborn throughout the day. The ideal candidate will enjoy engaging with infants through age-appropriate developmental activities, sensory play, and early learning opportunities that support growth through the toddler years. The family values organization, kindness, and the ability to help teach foundational life and developmental skills. The nanny should be comfortable coordinating simple activities and outings as the child grows and be open to safely taking the child outside the home for enriching experiences when age appropriate.

In addition to childcare, the family is seeking assistance with light household support that helps ease their daily workload. Responsibilities include family laundry, dishes, light housekeeping such as making beds and tidying common areas, grocery shopping, and running occasional errands. The family practices a parenting style centered around positive discipline, accountability, and “Love and Logic” principles, and they hope to find a nanny who aligns with these values and can help reinforce them as the child grows.

The household also includes a friendly and energetic Border Collie and Australian Shepherd mix. The nanny will be responsible for feeding the dog twice daily, letting the dog outside approximately three times per day, and occasionally assisting with walks or veterinary appointments. The family is looking for someone who is flexible, communicative, and comfortable working alongside busy, entrepreneurial parents.

They hope to build an open and collaborative relationship with their nanny, viewing the role as a trusted extension of their family. This position offers an opportunity for a dependable, proactive, and warm caregiver to grow with a welcoming family that deeply values support, teamwork, and a loving home environment.
