*The Specifics
This family is seeking a warm, nurturing, and experienced nanny to care for their infant beginning in early March, as mom returns to her part-time role as a physical therapist. Infant experience is essential, as the family is looking for someone they can fully trust and feel confident leaving their baby with. The ideal nanny is positive, upbeat, and genuinely passionate about being a nanny, viewing nannying as both meaningful and rewarding work. A loving demeanor and a calm, attentive presence are highly valued. The nanny will focus on providing attentive, hands-on care while supporting the baby’s developmental milestones through age-appropriate activities such as tummy time, sensory play, early learning experiences, and simple crafts as the B (3months) grows.
Responsibilities will include feeding and food preparation for the baby, baby laundry, tidying the baby’s spaces, and cleaning up after meals and activities, with the expectation that the home is left as it was found. The family values organization and care when it comes to anything baby-related. As the baby grows, the parents are open to outings and opportunities for socialization, allowing their child to explore the world, engage with other children, and experience new environments. Their ideal nanny will be comfortable engaging in play, movement, and daily routines that support a healthy, active lifestyle.
Both parents are energetic, social, and dedicated to their careers, with dad working as an engineer and occasionally working from home. They enjoy exploring Columbus, staying active, and building meaningful connections. They work best with someone who is easy to talk to, bubbly, and communicative, and who naturally builds a positive rapport with the family.
The ideal nanny is engaged, proactive, and confident, while also being flexible and respectful of the family’s routines and values. Above all, they are looking for someone who will love, nurture, and joyfully care for their baby while becoming a trusted and valued part of their daily life.
