*The Specifics
This active, warm, and down-to-earth family is seeking an experienced, confident, and engaging nanny to join their household long-term and provide attentive care for their infant. Dad works in real estate development and hospitality, while Mom works as a consultant with a flexible schedule that includes both office and occasional work-from-home days. As a family, they enjoy traveling, spending time outdoors, and maintaining a healthy, active lifestyle. They describe themselves as busy yet calm, health-conscious, organized, and fun-loving, and they are looking for a nanny who aligns well with these values.
The primary focus of the role will be caring for their 3.5 month old baby, (at the time of start) who thrives on interaction and loves being talked to, sung to, and engaged throughout the day. The ideal nanny will be highly knowledgeable in infant and child development and confident in supporting developmental milestones through age-appropriate activities. Someone who can thoughtfully plan the day, introduce stimulating play, and gently progress the baby’s physical, cognitive, and social development is essential. A warm, outgoing, and friendly personality is especially important, as the family is hoping for someone who is playful, silly when appropriate, and naturally engaging. They are seeking a nanny who brings positive energy and enthusiasm into the home.
In addition to childcare, the family would appreciate help with light housekeeping and occasional errands, as well as potentially walking their mini Bernedoodle, who is a beloved part of the family. A reliable vehicle is required, as the nanny is encouraged to plan and attend enriching outings such as music classes, art activities, and other baby-friendly experiences, as well as coordinate age-appropriate playdates to support early social development and peer interaction.
Organization, dependability, and clear communication are highly valued and provide the family with peace of mind. The family is eager to find someone who genuinely loves being a nanny. This position is ideal for a health-conscious, proactive caregiver who enjoys building a meaningful, long-term relationship with a family and supporting a child’s growth during these important early months.
