*The Specifics
This hardworking, and loyal family is excited to welcome their first child and is seeking a professional, long-term nanny to join their team-oriented household. With both parents working full-time from home and maintaining very busy schedules, they are looking for someone dependable, proactive, and experienced who can bring structure, energy, and loving care to their baby’s day. The family values personality fit above all else and is eager to find a nanny who is genuine, confident, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, fully staffed household.
The ideal nanny will see themselves as a true professional—detail-oriented, polished in presentation, and understanding that they represent the family inside and outside the home. Punctuality, dependability, and the ability to go above and beyond are essential. This family believes strongly in teamwork and wants someone who contributes to a smooth-running household while staying focused on their primary role: providing attentive and expert care for the baby. A self-starter who can plan the day, make thoughtful decisions on the parents’ behalf, and step in with initiative will be highly valued.
The family hopes to raise their child in a stimulating environment full of meaningful learning and busy, engaging days. They plan to homeschool long-term and would love a nanny who can help support early developmental stages, bring creativity and structure to the day, and encourage growth in alignment with the family’s values. A background in child development, education, or even medical knowledge would be an asset, as would fluency in a second language. Above all, the nanny should enjoy being an active participant in the child’s world and bring positive, encouraging energy to each day.
The household is strictly vegan, and it is important that the nanny respects this lifestyle—ideally, the nanny will be vegan or vegetarian themselves, but at a minimum must be mindful of the family’s expectations regarding food in the home. The family has a small dog, Ella, and the nanny should feel comfortable with pets. Travel will be part of the role, including one week at a lake house in the summer and longer seasonal stays in Florida or other destinations, sometimes for several months. Advance notice will always be provided, and housing will be included.
This is a unique opportunity for a nanny with expertise, professionalism, and a desire to stay long-term. The family is looking for someone calm yet energetic, grounded while flexible, and open to direct communication without becoming easily offended.
A nanny who thrives in a busy, collaborative household, enjoys being part of a team, and can balance warmth with professionalism will be a perfect match. For the right candidate, this position offers the chance to become an integral part of the family’s life, supporting their child’s development and creating a nurturing, stable foundation during these formative years.
