*The Specifics
An active, kind-hearted, and fast-paced family in Bexley is seeking a reliable and engaging full-time nanny to care for their fun-loving 4-year-old son and support their three older daughters (14, 13, and 11). With both parents running their own businesses, the household runs on a busy, well-structured schedule—and they’re looking for a nanny who can step in as a trusted, consistent presence to help keep things running smoothly.
The family’s youngest, a curious and clever preschooler, attends school two mornings a week (8:00am–11:00am). He is potty trained but still wears a pull-up during naps and bedtime. He thrives with one-on-one attention, structured play, and positive redirection. The nanny will be responsible for planning fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate activities—both at home and out in the community. The family provides a minivan and funds for outings and encourages trips to the park, library, or local attractions.
In addition to caring for the youngest child, the nanny will occasionally assist with the older children—three kind, independent, and athletic girls who are wonderful big sisters and role models. They are great students, athletes, and friends. They are respectful and helpful, and while they don't require much hands-on care, the nanny should feel comfortable interacting with them and offering support during afterschool routines or tight schedule days.
The ideal candidate is fun, creative, and engaging—someone who genuinely enjoys spending time with children of all ages and is excited to create meaningful, playful experiences. At the same time, reliability, cleanliness, and strong organizational skills are essential. The family is also looking for a nanny who is comfortable preparing simple meals, managing light household tasks such as dishes and children’s laundry (wash, dry, fold), and helping out during busy afterschool hours.
Their parenting style blends structure with kindness, using timeouts, redirection, and positive reinforcement. They are raising confident, well-mannered children and are looking for someone who will mirror that same approach to guidance and discipline.
This position has long-term potential and could evolve into a household manager role once all children are in school full-time. The family values loyalty and is excited to find someone who will become a true part of their team—not just a caregiver, but someone who will grow with them and contribute to their warm, energetic home. Frequent travel (up to six weeks a year) also means occasional opportunities to join in on family vacations.
This is a wonderful opportunity for a dedicated nanny who is responsible, flexible, and loves working with both young children and teens. The family can’t wait to welcome someone into their busy, loving, and joyful home.
