*The Specifics

A warm and welcoming family in Clintonville is seeking a long-term, full-time nanny to join their team and grow with their family. They are parents to two young girls G (4) and G (2), with a third child expected in the spring of 2026.

Their goal is to find someone who can provide consistent, loving care for their children, ideally longterm, until all three are in school. The family works from home with West Coast–based companies, but they do so in separate offices, giving the nanny her own space to care for and engage with the girls throughout the day.

Afternoons will primarily involve caring for G (4) while her younger sister naps, and then caring for both girls together once nap time ends. The family encourages outings with the girls to local libraries, museums, parks, and the zoo, though they ask that everyone be home by 5:15 p.m. to allow the girls to eat dinner with their parents.

The ideal nanny will be present, playful, and intentional in how they engage the children. Since the family does not use screen time, they are looking for someone who can provide imaginative play, crafts, reading, outdoor adventures, and activities that spark curiosity and creativity. A nanny who comes with ideas and plans—whether that’s an art project, a new park to explore, or a themed activity—will be a wonderful fit. Safety and attentiveness are essential, particularly with food and outdoor play, and the family hopes to find someone who is proactive in planning engaging, age-appropriate activities.

They are not seeking household chores beyond childcare; the focus of this role is on giving the children attention, stimulation, and loving care. Flexibility is important, especially with a new baby arriving in the spring. While the main responsibility will remain with the older girls at first, they would love someone comfortable around infants who can help support transitions after maternity leave and beyond.

G (4) is more reserved and thoughtful, while G (2) has a lively, “follow-the-leader” type of energy. The family values a nanny who is adaptable and aware. Someone who knows when to step back, pivot an activity, or redirect with patience and creativity. A kind-hearted, energetic caregiver who can be silly, adventurous, and meet the children at their level will thrive in this role.

The parents see this as a true partnership and want open, two-way communication with their nanny. They value honesty, collaboration, and building a trusting relationship where feedback can flow both ways. They want someone who sees this role as more than a job and someone who will feel like part of the family, bring positivity and patience into the home, and create joyful, lasting memories with their children.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a nanny who wants to invest in a family long-term and play a meaningful role a family's lives.
