*The Specifics

This family considers themselves to be down-to-earth and fun. They are seeking a nurturing and warm family assistant/nanny to join their dynamic family. With a 3-year-old son attending full-time preschool and a bustling schedule of summer camps for the older children, flexibility and adaptability are key qualities they seek in their ideal caregiver. With all three children in school full-time, this role will mainly focus on family assistant duties. The family prides themselves on their down-to-earth nature and seeks a nanny who shares their outgoing, bubbly, and fun-loving demeanor. The ideal candidate should possess a willingness to engage in active play with the children, particularly their energetic 3-year-old, while also demonstrating responsibility, punctuality, and reliability. Light housework, including kids' laundry, dishes, and meal preparation etc, will be part of the nanny's duties, along with assisting with errands, household organizational projects and transportation to and from after-school activities. The family values cleanliness and organization and hopes to find a nanny/family assistant who can help maintain a tidy environment for the children.

They are a warm and loving family. Their eldest is on the autism spectrum but has no medical issues. He is a sweet child and will primarily notice his autism through his speech (or lack thereof). He loves to be outside, riding his bike, at the playground, and playing basketball. Their daughter leads a busy schedule filled with dance, cheer, gymnastics, and more, requiring assistance with transportation to her various activities. Their youngest son is just beginning to explore activities like baseball. The family emphasizes positive reinforcement and is working to reduce screen time in favor of outdoor play and reading. Both parents work from home in separate offices, though occasional travel is part of dad’s job. They plan to add a dog to their family soon, the nanny/family assistant may be asked to assist with pet care responsibilities such as feeding and taking the dog outside. Additionally, the family has a hamster, but the nanny will not be responsible for any related duties.

In summary, they are seeking a caring and energetic nanny/family assistant who can seamlessly integrate into their active household and provide loving care and support to their children long-term. They are excited to meet you!
