*The Specifics

A warm and loving family of four is seeking a dedicated, long-term nanny to join their household and become a true extension of their family. With two sweet daughters—a bright and energetic 6-year-old who is in school full-time, and a playful and spirited 3-year-old—this family is looking for someone who can genuinely invest in their growth, development, and joy. Their 3-year-old will begin preschool in August 2026, attending four mornings per week from 9:00 am–12:00 pm. During preschool hours, the nanny will assist with responsibilities such as the girls’ laundry and meal prep, helping keep the household running smoothly.

Their previous nanny was with them for over two years and became a cherished part of their lives, attending birthdays, vacations, and special events, and they are now hoping to find someone equally special to step into this meaningful role for the next five years and beyond.

Both parents are full-time working physicians, making reliability and punctuality absolutely essential. The nanny will work a minimum of 32 hours per week, with every third week potentially increasing to up to 50 hours due to the father’s schedule. Flexibility is appreciated and necessary to help the family navigate these changing needs. Consistency and dependability are critical, as last-minute call-offs would create significant challenges.

The family is seeking a professional who views nannying as a meaningful, long-term career and takes pride in the role. They value someone who approaches each day with purpose and intention, modeling patience, kindness, and structure. The ideal nanny is warm, kind, energetic, proactive, and organized—someone who enjoys planning engaging activities and creating a balance of fun and learning. Their 6-year-old thrives in playful environments and loves swimming, dressing up, painting nails, doing hair, and staying active. She is responsible and helps tidy her room, and the family appreciates a nanny who fosters independence and accountability. She has a peanut and sesame allergy, so comfort with managing mild allergies and using an EpiPen is important (the parents are happy to provide training). Their 3-year-old enjoys reading, nature walks, imaginative play, and ballet.

Daily responsibilities include school drop-off and pick-up, transporting the girls to activities, preparing meals, doing the children’s laundry, tidying play spaces, and keeping the family car clean and organized. The nanny should be confident caring for both children, able to provide structure while encouraging creativity and exploration. The family has various local memberships and welcomes a nanny who will take initiative in planning outings and enriching experiences. A willingness to travel with the family is a plus.

Open communication is a cornerstone of this household. The parents deeply value collaboration, welcome ideas and suggestions, and appreciate a nanny who will openly share observations and partner with them in supporting their daughters’ development. With no extended family nearby, they hope to welcome someone who will truly become part of their lives—someone nurturing, dependable, and excited to grow alongside their family for years to come.
