This family considers themselves to be unorthodox, informal, and fun. Their ideal nanny would be someone who is patient, nurturing, and engaging. Their son has been diagnosed with ADHD and can exhibit challenging behavior at times. An ideal nanny will have a patience and know some de-escalation techniques to help him get back on track. An ideal nanny will also be willing to take the child to the park and other outings. The nanny will be also be responsible for preparing snacks and meals daily.He is overall a very sweet child, but struggles with transitioning from preferred activities to non-preferred activities. He enjoys being physically active. He also enjoys playing card games along with board games. He likes to move around or be able to do something tactile. He is very talkative, social, and outgoing. He enjoys spending time with someone who is also outgoing and will talk and engage with him. Letting him know the plan for the day and giving him a heads up when transitioning from one thing to the next is very helpful. It makes it easier for him if he knows what is happening next. This family is seeking a summer nanny who can create a fun summer for their son. They cannot wait to meet you!
